Mod for the Microgaming software

Microgaming poker rooms often propose poker races. The Microgaming software is one of the best in the poker industry: resizable table, timer button, preferred seat, auto-reload,…

There is also a possiblity to customize, or to mod the Microgaming software. One of the most popular mod is a minimal one that produce a completely black table as shown in the picture below.

Procedure to mod the Microgaming software

This is the default view on a Microgaming poker room: Ladbrokes (don’t forget our exclusive Ladbrokes rake race, it cumulates with the welcome bonus and the player club).

The installation of the black mod is pretty easy and can be done as follows (change the name of folder of the poker room to the one you want to apply the change. Here, the example is proposed with Ladbrokes):

1. Black background: copy TXT_Carpet_Default.dat in C:\Microgaming\Poker\LadbrokesMPP\theme\Ladbrokes\global\PokerGame
2. Black felt: copy TXT_Felt_Default.dat in C:\Microgaming\Poker\LadbrokesMPP\theme\Ladbrokes\global\PokerGame
3. Invisible logo: copy TXT_LogoBranding.dat in C:\Microgaming\Poker\LadbrokesMPP\theme\Ladbrokes\global\PokerGame
4. Modify the cards: unzip cards2.zip in C:\Microgaming\Poker\LadbrokesMPP\theme\Ladbrokes\global\PokerGame

Restart the software and open a table to check that the changed have been taken into account as shown on the picture below.

If the background is not black, open a table, go to options, and change the carpet in the tab table apparance to see which one is the black one. Enjoy your new poker table !
